Kick 2012 in the balls with this beauty…….

“Kalsu”

On the minute:
Complete 5 burpees and perform max rep 60/40kg thrusters on the minute.

The goal is to complete 100 total thrusters.
*At the beginning of every minute perform 5 burpees, for the rest of the minute perform as many thrusters as you can during that minute. At the beginning of the next minute perform 5 burpees and then max rep thrusters and so on until you reach 100 total thrusters.

  1. 16.56 scaled to 32 kg. gruelling! had a minute rest after 50 thrusters, not sure whether that was a good thing or a bad thing as felt I came to a stop and had to get myself back into it! Burpees super slow as I peeled myself from the floor out of a pool of my sweat! ew!!!!! :O

    Hated the front squat part of thrusters(wrists like a 90yr old) but OH part is fine!
    Took a ball to the wall approach in round 1 to 3- 16,9,9 reps, then dropped for the rest!
    Took a rest after the burpees on minute 16 which really helped!!
    Tough way to see out the new year!!

    paced myself from the start averaged 5 reps a round felt like my chest was gonna collapse at the end
