  2. Excellent video. I had heard 60 Minutes was running it and was hoping to get a chance to see it. Well worth watching. If anyone needs more proof and documentation, an excellent and very in-depth read is the book “Good Calories, Bad Calories” by Garry Taube.

    Good video. I agree. When I moved to Wales and started weight lifting at kicks two years ago nearly, the instructor told me to get the TNT diet book and he also introduced to protein shakes. I like one saying in the book, if you feel like pigging out on sugary food ask yourself are you hungry enough to eat a steak? I don’t know why but this has stuck with me and now I do think more carefully about whether I am hungry or just being a piglet. Obviously we all experiance different cravings for different foods but if people want to live a healthier life then sugar would be kept minimal and as a treat rather than everyday. I also think the problem people have eating sugary foods is that instead of having a healthy meal, people tend to reach for the sugary rubbish as their meal??? My friends at work are great examples of this unfortunately. Pasties and doughnuts every lunch time. I doubt people could eat this after eating a meal of chicken, spinach, tomatoes & fruit. I don’t agree in denying myself anything but I think everything in moderation is ok and portion control. I’m no expert on nutrition but I do like to hear people’s opinions on these types of topics.

      Good to hear your outlook Penny!! I am going to be holding a monthly nutrition talk where I will go through a few nutritional concepts / ideas that CrossFit believe compliment CF training. Date TBC.

    Back Squat BW (82.5kg) 5 reps on the minute for 10 mins.

    15:48 Rx. The wind was crazy, enjoyed the battling with Scott though. Managed to do the KBs unbroken but perhaps should have pushed harder on speed of swings.

    CAN I MAKE A PUBLIC APOLOGY FOR MY ACTIONS ROUND 2 ONWARDS ON THE KB SWINGS. I’M JUST GLAD MATT WASN’T THERE AT THE TIME.

    19.54 RX … Running sucked as normal, but my goal was between 21 & 22 minutes tonight so happy with the time I guess

  9. 17.07rx running is still my enemy but it seems to be improving slowly:) kb felt really light for a change
